Emotional intelligence is a person's ability yo understand the emotions of himself and others and act accordingly.
EI(emotional intelligence) is far more important than IQ. EI help an individual to cope with others. Emotional intelligence is identifying a behaviour understanding that behaviour and then acting accordingly that. When we understand someone's behavior it become easier for us to survive with him or her with. People with low EI find it difficult to understand others.
Through many psychological research it was seen that people with high level of emotional intelligence tend to be more involved in social activities and they are more open than the many other individuals with low emotional intelligence. It was also seen that they are more happier then other people. Emotional intelligence cannot be increased. You can learn the techniques to improve emotional intelligence and your behaviour with other people but you cannot improve your level of emotional intelligence.
